When Love Hurts

"Oga no dey ? " Sade asked, Sanni shifted nervously, before answering  " Him no dey" He quickly brings out a plastic chair from his security house for her to sit beside him. She brings out her phone to  dial Deji's number, it was 11:30pm. Sade knew there was no way she could go back home now, all the buses were gone

'He go far? i can see his car is still parked in the compound" she stated.  There was no response she looks up from her phone to find Sanni dozing off. She knew something was off. She dialed  the  number again for the fifth time. He picked. "Hello? he said irritated. Where are you? she asked. " i already told you I'm at home, what is it?" " i got you a new battery am downstairs" she replied. "why is everywhere dark, aren't you home?' silence....

"I'm at the bar two blocks away" he answered. "okay", she sighed with relief. Sade quickly taps Sanni to wake him up. he opens his eyes almost immediately. she instructs him to watch over the battery while she rushes to the bar to join Deji. Excitedly, Sade jogs all the way to the bar, only to find it almost empty, neither of the two people there, were Deji. Her heart raced because she knew what her mind was telling her but she still wouldn't believe it. She dials the number again as she walked back to the house. He picks up and says,  "I'm at the one on the other side of the house" She is nodding in affirmation, when she sees him coming out of the compound with a lady. she stands rooted, watching as he closes the gate. He turns to find her standing there, staring at him, he panics for second before smiling and saying, " you're here" Sade just stares on. He continues " Uhmmm Teni meet Sade, Sade meet Teni" in that instant, she wished she hadn't read Steve Harvey's Act Like a Lady, Think like a Man' the week before. It said, if a man doesn't label you, you mean nothing to him.
Teni said hello to her but all she can do is stare. she watches as they continue walking down the road.

And then it dawned on her, "how did i get here?"she asked herself.  She dial's V, her sister, barely waiting for her to pick before rambling on "i left the house 9:00 pm because this idiot told me he was broke and his car battery was bad, he claimed he couldn't come to see me and he wasn't sure if he would make it to work tomorrow. He sounded sad, i decided to go in search of a battery to surprise him only to discover he was with another woman the whole time. The sad thing is, i  suspected, but i didn't want to believe it. i can't even cry, i have been crying for three years V". she turns to a blank Sanni and sighs deeply. You deserve better Sade she tells herself and cuts the call, then dials Laide's number, she needs a place to crash .

  1. This post is written after a good research on the fume extraction system design functionality and services. I must say that the writer has knowledge of grammar and vocabulary and hence one can easily understand this post.
