Weddings have a way of making everyone happy, the bride, the groom, their parents, their friends and family, but sometimes there are some people who don't really feel the joyful atmosphere because of the pressure placed on them, especially if you're too involved in the event. like the event planner, chief brides maid, sister or brother to the couple, a close friend that is like family, and even the couple sometimes.
Usually they're too busy making sure every other person is happy or trying to make things perfect that they don't enjoy every moment of the event, this is not to say they aren't happy about it, but because of the pressure placed on them, they become unaware of the fact that their minds automatically disassociates itself from the event, not the planning. I went for a wedding today and had a great time, it got me thinking that maybe i had fun because, i wasn't on the train, or i wasn't related to the couple, i just came as a guest sat down, ate, drank and gisted (gossiped) with friends i hadn't seen in a while, or maybe it was the atmosphere that had this great energy, but in all it was wonderful. First the decor was what i noticed when i walked in and, it was beautiful. The ushers were very efficient which was refreshing, the catering? good enough to make me clear my plate, and the music got me tapping my feet and shaking my head, it was a good mixture of oldies and newbies i so looooved.
